A collection of Toronto musicians is celebrating the legendary George Harrison with a live music event on Thursday June 20th at 8:00pm at The Great Hall in downtown Toronto. Georges music, with The Beatles, The Traveling Wilburys, and his beloved solo career, has inspired millions of listeners and resonates with songwriters and artists after his passing due to lung cancer in 2001. The event is dedicated to raising funds for the Ontario Lung Association (www.on.lung.ca) and will feature a variety of local singers sharing their interpretations of Georges beautiful work, all backed by an eight-piece house band.
