The John Street Bridge is being named in commemoration of Roderick George (Rod) Robbie 1928 2012, an Architect and an Officer of the Order of Canada whose body of work included The SkyDome (1989) and the Katimavik, Canadas National Pavilion at Expo67 in Montreal, Quebec. Rod Robbie was a fervently proud citizen of the City of Toronto. Everyone is invited. Ceremony to be held at the Rogers Centre bridge entrance Bridge entrance, south side, at the foot of John Street (between the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre)
