Hollywood’s openness to diversity, the future of animated films aimed at adults and even the queer subtext of classic Disney plotlines will all be up for discussion at Queer Animation, part of Outfest, the LGBT Film Festival of Los Angeles. This one-of-a-kind event will feature an engaging discussion among some of today’s leading figures from the world of animation, including director Dean DeBlois (How to Train Your Dragon 2), producer Suzanne Buirgy (Happy Smekday!) and visual effects supervisor Jay Redd (Men in Black 3). Admission to the Queer Animation post-discussion reception is included with your ticket.
