Eclectic Company Theatre (North Hollywood, CA)

For its 10th year, Eclectic Company Theatre presents Hurricane Season, a new program of one-act plays that have never been produced before in California. Members of Eclectic Company Theatre’s reading committee have selected these plays, with topics ranging from an actress trying to remain calm while auditioning for a neurotic writer-producer, to a 12-year-old daughter whose behavior is scarier than a demon and a woman who’s trying to pull a marriage commitment out of her boyfriend while they’re stranded on vacation in the middle of an Arctic blizzard. Along with the independent jury’s choice of the top three best-written plays, you’ll also have a chance to vote for your favorite plays, directors, performers and playwrights.
