Coon, who also wrote the piece, plays multiple characters including the title characters: the lovers Gracie and Rose. It’s the late ’50s and Gracie lives in Wyoming “passing” as a man named George. When she and Rosie fall for each other, their love is as both out in the open and deeply secret.
