Screening of Latin Music Doc Hecho en México & Live Music at the Ford

Topanga Film Institute presents an evening celebrating the cultural vibrancy of contemporary Mexico with a special screening of Hecho en México plus an opening act featuring two musical artists: Latin Grammy Award nominated pop sensation Ximena Sariñana and dynamic one-man band Gull. Hecho en México is an inspiring cross-country road trip that explores Mexico’s rich musical heritage, from traditional music to more contemporary pop and rock, weaving a rich tapestry of original songs, conversations and reflections in a documentary that features some of Mexico’s most iconic artists and performers. Gil Cerezo from Kinky and Sergio Arau will act as masters of ceremonies for what promises to be a vibrant celebration of life, music, art and Mexican culture in Los Angeles.
