We are taking over the recently renovated outdoor space behind El Gordo & the Latin food court and turning it into a huge open-air patio. Good tunes, lots of cold pints, tasty food, and freshly cut grass beneath your feet. And besides, the cops are cracking down on drinking in Trinity Bellwoods Park. This is a way better idea and a great way to spend Pedestrian Sunday. Featuring: – Beer from us, the Kensington Brewing Company, your friendly neighbourhood beer company. – Delicious eats from Panchos Bakery, Don Taco, Gordo Empanadas, Lightweight Mini Donuts & Churrasco Sandwiches – BBQ pit churning out parrillada (Mexican BBQ!) – Tunes from musical guests Callan Furlong and the Old Fashioned Trash – Kensington urban lawn we\’re bringing in real grass because grass is better than concrete (duh) – One-day only discounts on our Community Supported Beer program Important Details: Location: 214 Augusta Avenue, Kensington Market (rear of El Gordo Fine Foods) Date: Sunday, July 28th 1pm-8pm (last pint served at 7pm) – No entrance fee – Families and kids welcome – I.D required for beer purchases – Cash only event
