Lincoln Stegman Theatre (North Hollywood, CA)

The Emmanuel Lutheran Actors Theater Ensemble (ELATE) brings this Tony-nominated collection of three one-act musicals to the stage. Written by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, the team behind Fiddler on the Roof, the trio of adaptations is built around the theme “be careful what you wish for,” and is based on stories by Mark Twain (The Diary of Adam and Eve), Frank R. Stockton (The Lady or the Tiger?) and Jules Feiffer (Passionella). The show first hit Broadway in 1966, directed by Mike Nichols, and was revived in 2006, starring Kristin Chenoweth.
