Dates: August 10, 2013 to August 10, 2013
Location: Bloor/Gladstone Branch, Toronto Public Library
Make Some Noise has joined forces with Offerings to create a unique musical event at the Bloor/Gladstone library. Musicians and sound artists stationed throughout the library will create improvised solo performances broadcast wirelessly to a central location. Audience members will be encouraged to create their own mixes of these disparate performances. Following this, three musicians will use collected footage of these improvisations to present a reconstructed composition. It is our hope that this process bodes agreeable results. At the very least it should be a very interesting evening! We’re excited to feature a stellar lineup of Toronto musicians and artists including: – Allison Cameron – William Davison – Carl Didur – Ryan Driver – Paul Dutton – Christine Duncan – Luis Hernandez – Mayo Onry – Alia OBrien – Brodie West – Andrew Zukerman +++THIS IS A FREE ALL-AGES EVENT+++
