The Toronto Police Services Board is meeting Tuesday August 13th at 1:30pm. Join us as we mourn the death of Sammy Yatim, Toronto’s latest victim of police brutality, and fight for justice for all victims of police violence and murder. The “special Investigations Unit” has shown a clear inability to police the police, leaving cops in Toronto with a sense that they can get away with murder, and leaving us with no hope for accountability from the authorities. Our communities are stronger, and more resilient than racist, classist police, and together we can ensure justice and build a world without police violence http://www.tpsb.ca/V/Meeting_Dates/ Compilation of everyone murdered by Toronto Police: http://bit.ly/KilledbyTorontoPolice and Factsheet on Police violence against the African community in Canada: http://toronto.mediacoop.ca/blog/ajamu-nangwaya/18378
