Soul Asylum Rocks It Out at The Canyon
The Canyon (Agoura Hills, CA)
Alt rock band Soul Asylum started out in Minneapolis and later rocketed to international acclaim with their 1992 platinum album Grave Dancer’s Union. The track “Runaway Train” earned the band a Grammy for Best Rock Song, in 1994. Let Your Dim Light Shine followed, with the #1 hit “Misery,” and then Candy From a Stranger and The Silver Lining. They’ve just released a new disc, No Fun Intended, the first of four planned punk cover EPs. See them live at the Canyon, after an opening set by Dizzylilacs.
