The New Situation: Family Opens Its Doors to Renters

When Francisco loses his teaching job, he and his sister Antonia decide to ride out the economic downturn and earn a few bucks by renting out rooms in their home. The New Situation arises when they meet two potential boarders. One is a docent at the L.A. County Museum of Art, who’s recently dealt with heartbreak, and the other is a inveterate playboy. This new production, staged at Santa Monica’s Promenade Playhouse, is written and directed by Carlo Perez Allen.
