Shakespeare’s universally adored tragedy Romeo & Juliet is set in Verona, where two families, the Montagues and the Capulets, have been feuding for years. But when young Romeo and his friends crash a Capulet party and the young Montague spies the beautiful Juliet Capulet, a passionate love affair begins that will bring these two families together in the most tragic of circumstances. One of Shakespeare’s greatest farces, The Comedy of Errors takes twin masters, each named Antipholus, their twin servants, both coincidentally named Dromio, and puts them together in the same city, setting off a chain of mistaken identity mishaps, including wrongful arrests and false accusations of infidelity. The chaos careens hilariously out of control leading the characters to believe their former friends are thieves, madmen or possessed by demons before all is revealed in a satisfyingly happy ending.
