Five-time Grammy nominee Ottmar Liebert and his band Luna Negra have released 25 albums, earning 38 gold and platinum certifications in the USA, plus more awards around the world. His debut, 1990’s double-platinum Nouveau Flamenco, is one of the best-selling guitar albums ever. A native of Cologne, Germany, he played shows in Boston and Santa Fe before he landed his first big break opening for Miles Davis on tour. His music blends traditional flamenco sounds with classical, rock and world music influences.
