“Feelin’ Alright”: Dave Mason of Traffic in Beverly Hills
The Saban Theatre (Beverly Hills, CA)
A founding member of classic rock band Traffic (with Steve Winwood), English guitarist and singer Dave Mason also recorded four gold records as a solo artist, and played on albums ranging from Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Ladyland to The Rolling Stones’ Beggars Banquet. A rock radio staple to this day, Mason is responsible for hits including the Traffic smash “Feelin’ Alright,” the psychedelic classic “Hole in My Shoe,” and his 1977 solo single “We Just Disagree.” His eclectic career has also seen Mason duet with Michael Jackson (on 1980’s “Save Me”) and briefly serve as a member of Fleetwood Mac.
