House of Blues on the Sunset Strip (West Hollywood, CA)
Soaring vocals, driving alt-rock, catchy hooks and ambient elements fuse in the thoroughly modern sound of Culprit. This House of Blues show celebrates the release of the L.A.-based band’s latest EP, Totem, a follow-up to the quartet’s well received 2011 debut EP, Analogue. Fronted by vocalist-guitarist Travis Powell, Culprit draws influence from a wide range of artists, including Thrice, As Tall as Lions, Circa Survive and even The Beatles. They’ve toured extensively, playing with Happy Body Slow Brain (ex-Taking Back Sunday), Dance Gavin Dance, I the Mighty and A Lot Like Birds, among others.
