They all started as applicants to Seneca College’s Independent Music Production (IMP) program, and eight months after being chosen, admitted into, and put through the program, sixteen artists from the graduating IMP 22 class will be hitting the stage at The Rivoli (334 Queen Street West, Toronto) to kick off the program’s 22nd CD release on Wednesday, September 11th, 2013. Alongside the release of their CD, which attendees can pick up for free at the show, the IMP 22 artists will be doing live performances of their original music, spanning from hip-hop, rap, gospel, R&B, electro, pop, acoustic, reggae, jazz, and folk. Doors open at 7:30pm, and the show starts promptly at 8:00pm.
