The 3rd Annual Filmmaker Music Series (FMS) celebrates the role of the music supervisor during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).  Skylar Entertainment PR is thrilled to announce a special live performance by Juno Award-winning artist Sass Jordan during the invite only event Monday September 9, 2013. 

Presented by Global Music Group Audio Network, FMS will be a hot spot during TIFF with actors, filmmakers and other TIFF delegates walking the red carpet outside Cherry Cola’s Rock N’ Rolla Cabaret and Lounge.
 
As an internationally recognized singer/songwriter who has sold over one million CDs worldwide, Jordan has made a living singing, performing, writing and recording music internationally for the past thirty years.  Winner of Billboard’s Best Female Rock Vocalist award, the bilingual Montrealer has toured and/or worked with many music heavyweights, including Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Cheap Trick, Van Halen, Carlos Santana and Joe Cocker.
 
Jordan’s songs have been featured on numerous television shows, including Melrose Place, Party Of Five, Baywatch and Knightrider.  In recent years Jordan is known for her time as a judge on Canadian Idol and her 2010 album From Dusk Til Dawn.  In 2013, Jordan has been rocking out with her new band S.U.N. Something Unto Nothing.
 
Sass is currently working on a project that incorporates the essence of her music and lifestyle, and provides a voice and avenue for other artists from all genres. The brand is currently under construction and nearing completion.  Stay tuned…

Suitcase Sam is back by popular demand from last year’s event.  Sam’s professional career began with the Hell-Bound Fiddle Band where he studied the great traditions of American fiddle, Cowboy poetry, Swiss yodeling and the Hokum Blues.  His debut EP  pays homage the great jazz era of the 20′s & 30′s, the vocals, the melodies, and the vibe; make you believe you are transported back to a different era
 
Sam is the Best Soundtrack winner for The Sweetest Hippopotamus at the Action on Film International Film Festival 2012. The Sweetest Hippopotamus is a Bravo funded short based on Sam’s track from his debut EP,  Get It To Go.  The film also won the Platinum Remi Award for Drama at the Houston International Film Festival 2012.  . http://www.suitcasesam.net
