Disorientation is an annual alternative orientation that highlights issues of social and environmental justice on the University of Toronto campus and in the surrounding community. This year, join a coalition of campus groups in discussing how we can resist sexism and patriarchy in our lives and in our movements, and how we can tie this work ongoing struggles against capitalism, white supremacy, colonialism and heteronormativity. This year’s keynote speaker is activist and writer Sarah Schulman, who will be talking about her own work around building inclusive, sustainable movements, including combating sexism, homophobia and other forms of oppression in her organizing work.
