Give and Grow, the debut album from jazz pop songstress Katie DuTemple, sees the singer-songwriter coo her way through love, loss and alienation over eight tracks of struggling self-discovery and landing in a place that’s not quite trip hop, a few guitar licks right of R&B and made out of deep emotions and electric soul. On October 15, 2013 Give and Grow will be celebrated at a release party taking place in Hugh’s Room. The album will be available in both CD and digital formats, as well as in a limited edition hand-bound notebook form created by art book artist Emma Dawn Allain. Tickets are all available through Hughs Room. Call or email to reserve a ticket and table. $15 in advance $18 at the door, which opens at 8:00 PM.
