Between the Pages: An Evening with the Scotiabank Giller Prize Finalists This evening at Koerner Hall, a special event to celebrate the five novels that have made the shortlist for this year’s Scotiabank Giller Prize. This award, established in 1994, is given yearly to a Canadian author of a work of fiction (novel or collection of short stories), and the winner is decided by a jury. This year’s nominees are Dennis Bock’s Going Home Again, Lynn Coady’s Hellgoing, Craig Davidson’s Cataract City, Lisa Moore’s Caught, and Dan Vyleta’s The Crooked Maid. CBC Radio One’s Carol Off, hosts this event, which will also features special guests, including Shelagh Rogers, Gordon Pinsent, David Cronenberg, and others. Royal Conservatory of Music, Koerner Hall (273 Bloor Street West) 8PM $15 (and up)
