JUICE Comedy’s “Juice Cup: Africa Versus the West Indies,” returns for a 2nd year! Presented by Ritz Caribbean Foods, this night of side-splitting comedy features a line up of 6 international and local comedians in head-to-head battle, where celebrity judges and the audience collectively crown the winner! The JUICE Comedy Show takes place on Sunday November 17th, inside the luxurious Toronto Centre for the Arts (5040 Yonge Street, Toronto). Hosted by G98.7 FMs beloved morning hosts, Mark Strong and Jemeni, the show teams up the citys best comedians against each other for an ultimate battle in comedy supremacy. Representing Team Africa is Arthur Simeon, Torontos own Bad Boy of Comedy, TRIXX, plus a surprise guest (to be announced the night of the event), and coaching the team is MC Bonde. Battling it out for Team West Indies are Jay Martin, Jean Paul, Sterling Scott, and coaching the team is none other than Dr. Jay. Since 2010, JUICE Comedy’s “Juice Cup: World Cup of Comedy” presented a concept that was both simple and interactive, yet unlike anything else in Toronto: Take some favourite local and international comedians, and compile them into two teams to bring the most hilarious, side-splitting comedy battle of the year to the city. Celebrating our cultural differences through laughter, this contest places Team Africa head-to-head against the comedic talents of Team West Indies. With a supporting cast of coaches, judges & cheerleaders, including many familiar faces from television, radio, and Torontos music & nightlife industries, Juice Comedy Cup is poised to be one unforgettable night.
