Sunday, November 24 Christmas-card workshop and festive afternoon tea. Torontos First Post Office. 1-4 p.m. The York Regency Society announces its annual Christmas-card workshop and tea. This year, cardmaking expert Linda Lorraine will teach a hands-on workshop, after which we will write Christmas cards using quill pens (provided), and enjoy our sumptuous tea with seasonal goodies. Additional cards will be available for purchase, but youre also welcome to bring your own from home. Dont forget your address book! Youll want to seal your cards with wax and post them with TFPOs unique postmark on-site! Stamps are of course available for sale, as well as a charming array of books, quills, stone inkpots, and other unusual gifts perfect for holiday shopping. Tickets $20, plus $2 for materials.
