Just in time for the holiday gift-giving season, Artscapes Holiday Art Market returns to Artscape Wychwood Barns (601 Christie Street). On Sunday, December 8 from 12:00 5:00 pm, the Covered Street Barn at Artscape Wychwood Barns will be transformed into a holiday-themed marketplace featuring 30 exhibitors selling one-of-a-kind jewellery, paintings, prints, ceramics, textiles, accessories, soaps and homewares. Free admission. Artscape Wychwood Barns is a community cultural hub dedicated to the arts and the environment. Formerly a TTC streetcar facility, this magnificently-restored industrial building is home to artist live/work spaces, offices for not-for-profit organizations, indoor and outdoor growing spaces, an art gallery and a large Covered Street for public and private events. Holiday Art Market attendees are invited to tour the studios of artists who live and work in the building and follow a self-guided tour to learn more about the historical and environmental features of this dynamic arts and cultural centre.
