Dear all! This is a great opportunity to acquaint with passionate dance Flamenco !!! This 1 hour and a half workshop will introduce students to flamenco dance the dance form and music genre of Andaluca (southern Spain), made popular by touring shows such as Cibay (1992) by the Joaqun Corts’ Flamenco Ballet company, and by Mara Pages in Riverdance (1994), to name a few. In this workshop, flamenco aficionada, Claudia Aguirre will introduce rudimentary flamenco footwork, arm and hand movements, and break down some of the rhythmic patterns that make flamenco so captivating.
