Jazz artist and Golden Age movie buff Laura Ellis sings favorites made famous by Cinema Sweethearts Judy Garland, Doris Day, Shirley Jones and more, as well as showing big-screen film clips and sharing some fun celebrity trivia. Discovered and mentored by Alan Paul of The Manhattan Transfer, Ellis starred in the popular multimedia show Femme Fatale: Music, Movies and Mayhem, and her latest boasts hits like Day’s signature tune “Que Sera, Sera,” Jones’ “Till There Was You,” from The Music Man and Garland’s “Get Happy,” from her final MGM musical Summer Stock.
