At only 22, Talia Favia is already a rising star in the contemporary dance scene, winning prestigious choreography competitions and teaching master class workshops in Poland and Russia. In her latest work, The Difference Between Sinking and Drowning, Favia probes feelings of vulnerability and loss while exploring the very essence of movement. Featuring a cast of 18 young dancers from the L.A. area, Favia will present her remarkable show for the first time since she won the Celebrity Create Competition hosted by the Tempe Center for the Arts, where The Difference Between… debuted last spring to a sold-out audience.
