Lonny Chapman Theatre (North Hollywood, CA)
It’s 1960 and Parisian lothario Bernard has it good. His three fiancées, one French, one German and one American, are all beautiful airline hostesses with frequent — but never overlapping — layovers in Paris. And thanks to Bernard’s faithful maid, who swaps out the photographs in his apartment according to schedule, the women will never find out about each other. That is until a new, faster Boeing jet throws the airline schedules out of whack and Bernard finds himself with all three women on his hands at once. Throw in Bernard’s friend, who’s hilariously bad at keeping all the lies straight, and the whole perfect setup might just fall apart. This slapstick farce from French playwright Marc Camoletti has been performed in London and on Broadway and was made into a 1965 film starring Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis.
