Experience the music of three masters of classical music — Dvorak, Borodin and Shostakovich — in an intimate setting at the famed Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. At this edition of Le Salon de Musiques, a collective of Los Angeles’ most renowned chamber musicians, a quartet will perform works by two Russian composers: Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet in G Minor, Op. 57, and Borodin’s String Quartet No. 2 in D Major. Also included in this program is Czech composer Dvorak’s breathtaking Romance for Violin and Piano. The talented quartet, consisting of Jessica Guideri and Roger Wilkie on violins, Rob Brophy on viola, and John Walz on cello, will be joined by Robert Thies on piano. After the performance, join the musicians at a reception featuring Champagne and a gourmet buffet catered by Patina.
