Pasadena Symphony Plays Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich
Ambassador Auditorium (Pasadena, CA)

Hailed by NPR’s All Things Considered as “downright thrilling” for his “keen musical mind and deep musical soul,” pianist Shai Wosner will join the Pasadena Symphony for this final classical concert of the season. Born in Israel, Wosner studied at Juilliard and has appeared with major orchestras across the U.S. and around the world. For this program, he’ll delight with Tchaikovsky’s dazzling Piano Concerto No. 1. Under the baton of conductor Jahja Ling, the symphony will also perform Shostakovich’s bombastically popular Fifth Symphony.
