Don Friesen is the “superglue” of comedians: his bond with audiences is instantaneous and long-lasting. A mix of impressions, improvisation and audience interaction, his act is fresh and frenetic, targeting everything from family life to tech support to cellphone service. Known for his clean comedy and winning style, he’s the only two-time winner of the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition. An opener for Counting Crows and The Goo Goo Dolls, he has also been seen on the Martin Short Show, Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed and his own special on Showtime, Ask Your Mom. Now he comes to wow audiences at Flappers Comedy Club in Claremont.
