Dorothy Chandler Pavilion-5th Floor Space (Los Angeles, CA)

Experience the music of three masters of classical music — Beethoven, Bridge and Scharwenka — in an intimate setting at the famed Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. At this edition of Le Salon de Musiques, a collective of Los Angeles’ most renowned chamber musicians, a trio will perform works by two German composers: Beethoven and Scharwenka. The Beethoven piece is his Piano Trio No.3 in C Minor Op 1, while the Scharwenka pieces are USA premieres — Serenade for Violin and Piano Op 70 and Piano Trio No. 1 in F Sharp Minor Op 1. Also included in this program are two pieces by English composer Bridge: Meditation, Spring Song and Elegy for Cello and Piano, and Russian Valse for Violin, Cello and Piano. The talented trio consists of Antonio Lysy and Searmi Park on violins and Francois Chouchan on piano. After the performance, join the musicians at a reception featuring Champagne and a gourmet buffet catered by Patina.
