In Bright Colors and Bold Patterns, Droege plays a character closer to home than the too-cool Sevigny: a charming, disaffected gay man at his friends’ wedding, utterly perplexed as to why the couple would want to get married in the first place. With his characteristically dark and funny edge, this comedian/writer/director explores stereotypes, relationships and same-sex marriage at Acting Artists Theatre.
