A fleet of flying saucers from Planet X appears in the skies over 1950s Milwaukee and it’s up to a mild-mannered scientist, an all-American girl-next-door, a man-hungry secretary and one plucky, tap-dancing delivery boy to save the world in Zombies From the Beyond. A musical comedy satire of 1950s sci-fi B-movies, Zombies is a deadpan, hilarious show set in a weird, classic B-movie nexus where the Eisenhower era Cold War and space race intersect with alien aviatrix Queen Zombina and co., who are on a quest to “zombify” and abduct all of Earth’s men. A critical smash off-Broadway in 1995, this 2014 Hollywood Fringe Festival run marks Zombie‘s L.A. premiere.
