Broadway baby Shoshana Bean first gained fame from her acclaimed roles in Hairspray and Wicked, and followed that up with a sold-out concert appearance at New York’s famed Jazz at Lincoln Center. As a solo singer-songwriter, Bean hit the Top 5 on the iTunes R&B charts with her debut disc Superhero. Now she’s back with tracks from her sophomore album, O’Farrell Street, a retro soul disc packed with her vintage-inspired originals, as well as covers from classic ’60s stars like Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Sam Cooke.
