Now premiering at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, the original musical Rock & Roll’s Greatest Lovers, written by and starring film and TV actress Anzu Lawson (Ray Donovan, Scandal), explores how the unlikely pairing between the avant-garde artist and the world’s most famous musician developed, and how they battled back against the massive hatred aimed at their controversial coupling with an unwavering commitment to peace and love. Tom Mesmer, who’s starred in Jesus Christ Superstar, Sweeney Todd and Hank Williams: Lost Highway, takes on the role of Lennon.
