The summer’s finally here and it’s time for music and food and drinks. The Sister will be hosting three great acts for your listening pleasure. It’s Friday night – what else are you going to do?
9PM – Weatherstone
Weatherstone, a Cameron House mainstay fronted by singer-songwriter Chris Weatherstone (also a member of the raucous Lemon Bucket Orkestra) is a musical force to be reckoned with. Spanning genres of folk, rock, jazz and sometimes a little bit country, Weatherstone swoops up a storm for your ears.

10PM – Noel Johnson
Noel Johnson (another artist in residence at The Cameron House) is a Calgary born (now Toronto based) alt/folk/soul rocker. Noel Johnson has had a quite a career so far. After releasing his first EP “A Familiar Change” in February 2009 he quickly recorded his first full length album “Spirit of the Day” in Nashville with grant money he received from Rawlco Radio. Noel teamed up with fellow Calgary musician Michael Bernard Fitzgerald and producer Josh Gwillam on this project. Noel creates hauntingly beautiful melodies, engaging lyrics and a song writing quality that has made him a force to be reckoned with in the Alberta and Toronto music scene.
