The Independent Shakespeare Co. presents its summer Shakespeare festival featuring Twelfth Night and The Taming of the Shrew. Twelfth Night is a gender-bending comedy of mistaken identities and misplaced affections, featuring some of Shakespeare’s funniest characters and most side-splitting situations. The ultimate battle-of-the-sexes comedy, The Taming of the Shrew pits a determined gold-digger against his wealthy but headstrong new wife. In an exciting Goldstar exclusive, members will be seated in a special reserved front section for this free-to-the-public event in Griffith Park’s beautiful natural amphitheater.
