The British are coming, in the form of P.G. Wodehouse’s lovably loopy Bertie Wooster and his unflappable butler, Jeeves. In this combo of adventures adapted by Margaret Raether from the author’s original stories, Wooster gets himself tangled up in a romantic escapade and a quarrel with a chef, problems soon mopped up by his trusty sidekick. But when Bertie gets himself into yet another scrape, Jeeves decides to resign his service and reinvent himself as something other than a gentleman’s gentleman. Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry starred as the beloved characters on a successful BBC series from 1990-93.
