Step back into 1929 with live jazz and a swing dance performance at the El Cid. Jonathan Stout’s Close Shave Quartet will set the mood with ’20s and ’30s tunes while the Moonrise Club Hot’chas tear up the dance floor with smokin’ dance steps including the Balboa, Shag, Charleston and Lindy Hop. The award-winning dance troupe features some of the most exciting swing dancers in the county. The Close Shave Quartet is a pared down combo comprised of members of Stout’s renowned band. They’ll be playing hot jazz for the one-hour dance show and later into the night. Cocktails, a prix fixe menu and tapas are all available for purchase at the club.
