Cuban singing sensation Yordamis, a solo performer and former member of popular Havana-based salsa band Bamboleo, will pay musical homage to the greatest female Cuban singers of all time — Celia Cruz, La Lupe, Celeste Mendoza and Graciela — in this exciting show at the Museum of Latin American Art. Backed by the West Coast Salsa Orchestra, Yordamis will perform the songs that have become synonymous with each legendary performer. Known for her powerful, soulful voice, Yordamis Megret was a member of ’90s “timba brava” trailblazers Bamboleo for four years before launching her successful solo career.
