Glass/Shattered: Ella Invents Singing takes you across centuries of music making with GRAMMY nominated singer Nnenna Freelon and the MUSE/IQUE orchestra conducted by Rachael Worby. A celebration of song, the show channels Ella through the music of Ellington, Gershwin, Stevie Wonder and even Mozart tracing origins of influence from operatic arias and scat, through modern hip-hop. The concert also features science-inspired projections from Daniel Goods, a Visual Strategist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
