Typically, this age range is a kid’s last chance to be creatively fearless before they become more self-conscious, introverted teenagers. This playshop is designed to inspire kids to keep those creative fires burning!
These four weeks will be a fun exploration of rhythm and musicality through games and play including body percussion and freestyle drumming, with an emphasis on music as an improvised team sport, as well as learning, creating and playing rhythms together.
