Hailed for their “organic, fresh” sound that’s “reminiscent of classic ’70s roots-reggae, yet uniquely their own” (The Reggae Review), Zvuloon Dub System is a tight eight-piece band featuring some of Israel’s top reggae musicians. Adopting their name from one of the 12 tribes of Israel, the globe-trotting group has taken their singular sound to Canada, Cyprus and Israel’s top festivals. Zvuloon sing in English and Amharic, and share a passion for roots reggae and dub, with influences from Ethiopian jazz and American soul, funk and jazz alongside traditional Israeli mizrahi music.
