L.A. Chinatown’s Central Plaza (Los Angeles, CA)

You’ll think you’ve died and gone to fried chicken heaven as some of L.A.’s top chefs and restaurants — including Craft, Ladies’ Gunboat Society at Flores and Superba Food & Bread — descend upon Chinatown’s charming Central Plaza for the third annual Food GPS Fried Chicken Festival. Presented by Bolthouse Farms, this all-inclusive event showcases some of the city’s most exciting culinary talent preparing their signature fried chicken dishes and sides in addition to an array of delicious desserts and beverages. Enjoy tastes of James Beard Rising Star Award nominee Kris Morningstar’s fried chicken with pimento cheese grits, maple and scallions, The Huffington Post‘s “Best Fried Chicken Sandwich in L.A.” winner Free Range LA (a sweet ‘n’ savory crispy honey sriracha tender), Dante Fried Chicken’s “Sock-It-to-Me” fried chicken with apricot crack and chocolate Guinness blueberry sauce and much more. There’ll also be specially created cocktails, craft sodas and fresh juice, desserts from McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams and Sprinkles Cupcakes, and more.
