House of Blues on the Sunset Strip (West Hollywood, CA)
All three rooms at the House of Blues on the famously rockin’ Sunset Strip will be taken over by 30 craft beer makers from Los Angeles and beyond at this nighttime festival that pairs the world’s oldest fermented beverage with music from some of the top contemporary folk-rock and bluegrass acts and gastropub fare from the venue’s in-house kitchen. Local Brews Local Grooves celebrates the indelible connection between beer and music with breweries (like Torrance’s Smog City, L.A.’s Golden Road and San Deigo’s Stone) pouring their best ales and lagers, and bands (like Fleetwood Mac tribute Rumours and eight-piece indie-folk group Huxlee) providing tunes. Sampling wristbands, which will be available for purchase at the door, allow you to taste through the beer selection, which will take over the main music hall as well as the Crossroads Restaurant and the exclusive Foundation Room.
