The new solo project from Grammy-winner Jennifer Nettles, formerly of the multi-platinum country-pop duo Sugarland, succeeds in showing off her gorgeous voice and stellar songwriting skills in a variety of styles — including country, gospel and ’70s radio — under the direction of super-producer Rick Rubin. Now touring behind the acclaimed 2014 disc, titled That Girl, Nettles is set to deliver one of her powerful live performances featuring some Sugarland hits as well as new songs, including her album’s title track and “Me Without You.” Opening for Nettles is rising country artist and acclaimed songwriter Brandy Clark. Concert tickets include admission to the legendary L.A. County Fair.
