Philly born and bred, Maze frontman Frankie Beverly has been leading the group since the early ’70s, and together they’ve since charted a number of singles, including “Feel That You’re Feelin’,” “Running Away,” “Back in Stride” and “Can’t Get Over You.” Studdard was crowned as Fox Television’s American Idol in 2003 after pulling in 24 million votes. He’s since followed up that success with a string of gold and platinum records, top 10 albums and R&B and pop singles, and his newest album, Unconditional Love, debuted at No. 7 on Billboard’s R&B Chart.
