For one day only BEAN Art Exhibition, featuring local, affordable art will be held at MakeWorks Studio on Sept 17, 2014 from 5pm-10pm. Buying original art can be daunting – where to go, how much to spend, and what to get are just a few questions that will inevitably cross a buyer’s mind. The initial few steps are nerve wracking, but going into a gallery shouldn’t be intimidating; it should be an exciting and enjoyable experience. BEAN promotes an atmosphere that encourages everyone; from art lovers to curious skeptics, to take a look, have a drink, grab a bite and buy some local art at an affordable price.
With 20 exciting emerging artists exhibiting, there will be a wide range of artwork for sale including painting, photography, drawing, prints and woodwork. While perusing the show you can also enjoy local beer, wine and food.
