This trailblazing satirical black comedy depicts a unit of medical personnel stationed at a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH) during the Korean War. Released in 1970 at the beginning of the American New Wave, there was no mistaking which war MASH was really about. Nominated for five Oscars — with a win for Best Adapted Screenplay — MASH also stars Donald Sutherland, Tom Skerritt and Robert Duvall.
